Initially made for big game hunters, the LC-200 turned out to be too weak to take on anything really challenging. Earth Weapon Enterprises considered scrapping the design, before deciding to simply rethink the purpose of the gun. Settling on the name 'Scout' they marketed the carbine as a comfortable-to-use defensive weapon for hunters scouting out new areas.
