This item appears to be a MAKO FAL-5 (L) with some modifications that aren't

authorised by the Imperial Federal Navy. Holes have been forged into the blade

and the cutting edge also seems to have been painstakingly reinforces with a

different, extremely strong mineral. The modifictions appear to have been both

wisely conceived and skilfully executed, making the blade compatible with

the colony repair terminals.
